The end of Series 7 was just epic, can’t believe we have to wait till November for the 50th Special and who exactly is John Hurt’s Doctor? The Valeyard? So much speculation online already and so long to wait!
BTW just so you know this image that is kicking around the internet, although very cool IS NOT official, I found the source and it’s an artist on DeviantArt who mocks up posters, logos and DVD style covers.

E-Cig Mod - 11th Doctor’s Sonic Screwdriver
Everyone has e-cigs nowadays, my mate reckoned mine looked like a sonic screwdriver, so I thought, “challenge accepted!”
I got one of the toy sonic screwdrivers, 11th doctor of course, and took all the workings out of the middle and with lots of fiddling created this! I heated up a screwdriver to melt some holes and clear some other bits out, then used some gentle brute force to clear the rest of the components out and I fitted the e-cig inside. Using leftover parts from the spring mechanism and a sequin I fashioned a button on to top to line up with the hole I’d melted. (Be warned heating up screwdrivers with a gas hob is dangerous!!!)
I used a Clearomizer CE4 E-Cig which I got from E-Cig Mods with a Drip Tip adaptor.
Good luck to anyone who tries a similar mod, this took about 5 hours to do, but at least you know it can be done!
